Absolutely, as long as the couple is comfortable with guest requests. I’ll do my best to work them in, provided the requests fit the vibe you’ve established and don’t include songs on your “do not play” list.

How involved are we in choosing the music?

You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you’d like. Some couples provide a detailed playlist with songs they want (and don’t want), while others give me a general style and trust my experience. Either way, I’ll make sure the music reflects your tastes and keeps guests entertained.

Do you provide lighting or any special effects?

I’ve really become an enthusiast for intelligent lighting. I offer uplighting and synchronized lighting effects that move in time with the music—keeping the energy high and the dance floor alive!

Yes. I’m always open to integrating cultural traditions or religious music into the playlist. Let me know your preferences in advance so I can make sure I have the right music or can acquire it before your big day.

How much does a DJ cost?

My DJ Services start at $1,200 for a 4 hour package, including a pro sound PA system, a wireless microphone and emcee/host services. Emcee/host only starts at $600. Do I need the Advanced Audio System?

It’s recommended for parties over 80 people. It adds a sub PA speaker to enhance the audio quality and effectiveness for your event, and it’s $400.

Can you emcee without DJing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Emcee/host only starts at $600. This includes myself hosting your event; equipment requirements depend on each event.

What kinds of events do you do?

Weddings and milestone birthdays first and foremost, plus family celebrations like Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Quinceañeras, corporate and holiday parties, and other private parties. I also emcee on my own, with or without the DJ setup.
